Wise Guys Pizzeria - Authentic, Family-Owned Pizza in Merritt Island, FL

One of the better pizza places in Merritt Island with a unique cheese pizza. Loved having jalapeño poppers, which I havent had since I was a kid. Calzone was excellent! Knots were smaller than we're used too and I think that made them a little harder than desired. Will enjoy ordering again in the future

Felt like pizza tonight and decided to take a chance and try out Wise Guys. I never try to order food in the last hour before closing, as a Chef, I understand that can be frustrating. I decided to keep it simple, so I ordered the largest cheese pizza they had. First off, the customer service is great! The old man that owns it is personal with his customers and greets everyone that walks in while he’s making the pizzas. The wait wasn’t long and they got it out at a decent time. No huffing about the time of night, no negative atmosphere, just old school pizza joint vibes. Now the pizza. It was simple. Not too greasy, right ratio of cheese and sauce, crust was cooked perfectly. Overall just a stellar looking pie. Delicious too. I highly recommend giving this place a try. If you’ve already tried it or you try it and it’s not your favorite or maybe you didn’t have a great experience, I urge you to try it at at least two more times to get something different. Maybe you just didn’t like what you ordered. But go get some pizza from this place!

I stopped in for a slice. Best slice I have had in a long time. Just the way I like it. Thin and well done. Was so impressed that I left to run some errands and came back to order supper for the family. Cheese steak and chicken cheese steak were very good. Also, ordered a large pie which, like the slice, was excellent. The cannolis, for dessert, were the best I have had here locally. It is nice finding small, locally owned places that make good food. I am sure to return to try other menu items.

Went here for the first time on their two slice and soda lunch special for $9.75 after shopping at Home Depot in the same strip mall. The round slice is very large and a bit thin. Other than the large amount of oil on top after heating it up, it was quite good for Floroda Pizza. The crust had a good chew and a bit crisp. This reminded me of a typical neighborhood Brooklyn, NY pizza. Nothing amazing but not bad. I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor and not overly salty. I will be back.

Excellent pizza and amazing menu for everyone with very reasonable prices. Staff is great and very attentive. Very clean with a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Everything we have tried from here has been great. Pizza is legit and mozzarella sticks, cheesy bread, and pinwheels are always ordered each visit. Definitely worth!

Stopped in for lunch and was greeted by the owners who are from NY. Good spirited and very attentive. Ordered two slices fresh out of the oven and a loaded small stromboli (big for a small). Slices were large, great thin crust, good under carriage, good tasting sauce and cheese ratio. I prefer slightly well done so I'd ask to keep in in two minutes longer on our next visit. The stromboli cooked to perfection and was loaded with pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage and mozzarella. Appreciated the great NY Style food from back home as well as the good conversation with the owners. Would highly recommend this nice restaurant with great wiseguy decor. 5*****
